Introduction

Champs Consulting is a mental health training company that partners with organisations to provide leaders and teams with the tools and support to foster positive mental wellbeing in the workplace. Their mission is to create a lasting culture of engagement and well-being.

Champs Workshop

Background

As was Champs Consulting expanding and maturing as a company, they recognised the need for a brand identity that better reflected their unique approach and differentiated them in a competitive market. Their existing brand felt too corporate and did not resonate with their desire to create a more personal and relatable connection with clients.

Objectives

  • Brand Refresh: Develop a new brand identity that aligns with Champs' values and mission.
  • Enhanced Brand Differentiation: Stand out in the competitive mental health training market.
  • Build Community: Foster a stronger sense of community among Champs' clients and partners, facilitating knowledge sharing, networking, and collaboration.

Logo Design

A new logo was created that embodies the Energetic, Personal, and Knowledgeable characteristics of Champs. The logo is designed to be approachable and memorable.

Brand Identity

Three key words were identified to capture the essence of Champs:

  • Energetic
  • Personal
  • Knowledgeable

These words guided the development of the new brand identity, including the logo, colour palette, and visual style.

Sub-Brand Development

Sub-brands were developed for specific training programs and initiatives, providing visual differentiation while maintaining a consistent brand identity.

Implementation

The rebranded Champs launched with a coordinated campaign across multiple channels, including website updates, social media marketing, and targeted advertising.

Conclusion

Champs' rebranding successfully transformed their brand identity to align with their mission of providing accessible and relatable mental health training. The new brand emphasises a personal approach and a commitment to creating a positive work environment.
